Heinz-Günter Hunold Senior established the Hunold accounting firm in Cologne in 1958. Since then, we have grown into one of the top partners for (family-run) businesses and institutions in the Cologne region for all matters related to taxes, auditing, legal and business advice.

1958
Heinz-Günter Hunold Senior, certified tax representative and tax consultant, established the Hunold accounting firm in 1958. In its early years, the firm relocated from Neumarkt to Rudolfplatz and then to Breslauer Platz. However, one thing remained a constant: its location in the heart of Cologne.
1988
Heinz-Günther Hunold Junior joined his father’s firm in 1988. The firm then moved to Cologne Rodenkirchen to be closer to clients – first to Maternusplatz and then, at the beginning of the 1990s, into a new building in the business park. Hunold + Partner was born.
2008
In its mission to become a consultancy firm for all matters of business, Hunold + Partner teamed up with lawyers and insolvency practitioners from Amelung Brüning Werner and established the AHW consultancy firm.
2020
Our ongoing expansion has enabled us to cross two thresholds: For the first time, our company has over 100 employees that generate a turnover of over EUR 10 million.
